AIM Therapies stands for Active, Integrated, and Meaningful Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Language Pathology. AIM Therapies represents staff working together, and striving to move our community toward better health. The definition of AIM is to direct a course, to aspire, to achieve a level of success while directing an effort toward a goal.

Anyone who needs to improve or restore function as a result of surgery, illness, disease or injury can benefit from an individualized rehabilitation program. At AIM Therapies, we provide a continuum of care, bridging the transition from inpatient to outpatient care. Our comprehensive and innovative programs are designed to help our patients achieve their goals for independence. Our physical, occupational and speech-language therapists are experts in medical and surgical rehabilitation services. We work closely with your physician or surgeon to provide the most effective treatment for your condition so that you can return to the life activities you enjoy.

Please contact your physician to request a referral (prescription) to therapy at AIM Therapies. Most insurance policies include a rehabilitation benefit. Check with your health plan to determine coverage and choose AIM Therapies for your care.

Ron

After graduating from the University of California Davis, Ron attended the University of the Pacific where he received a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy. He was the director of several outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation centers in the San Francisco Bay Area before moving to Oregon in 2006. He specialized in spine and extremity orthopedic rehabilitation.

Andrea, DPT

Andrea, DPT, was raised in Toronto, Canada. She graduated with a Masters in Physical Therapy from Cleveland State University and received her Doctorate of physical therapy from A.T. Stills University. She has certifications in Complete Decongestive Therapy and Manual Lymph Drainage, Cancer Exercise Specialist, and is a PORi Certified Oncology Rehabilitation Specialist. She is preparing for her Lymphology Association of North America (LANA) Certification in 2021. She loves to travel- -twelve countries and counting! She moved to Oregon and joined Mercy in 2014. Has 2 dogs, 2 cats, and a love for the outdoors, cooking, painting, and learning about different wines!

Dana, DPT

Dana was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She graduated from Washington University in St. Louis in 2017 and received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from George Washington University in 2021. She enjoys playing tennis, hiking, reading, baking and is excited to start exploring the Pacific Northwest.

David, DPT

David, PT, DPT was born and raised in Seattle, WA. He graduated with an undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of San Francisco, and moved to Denver, Colorado to complete his doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. He is an avid rock climber and winter sports enthusiast, and enjoys the outdoors immensely. His passion is to connect with patients in order to assist with meeting their functional goals and return to a lifestyle that they enjoy!

Emiley, PTA

Emiley, PTA is a Roseburg, OR native. She graduated from Whatcom Community College in 2009 as a physical therapist assistant. She is married and has 2 children. Activities outside work include hunting, swimming, attending sport tournaments with her kids, and various other outside activities.

Evan, DPT

Evan, DPT, was raised in Brigham City, Utah. He attended Junior College to play football, then Utah State for his Bachelor’s degree, followed by graduate school in Glendale Arizona. He is married and has 3 energetic sons. He enjoys working creatively with low back pain patients to help them achieve their best outcomes. He loves hiking, volleyball, running/walking with his family and working out. He teaches and mentors children at his church.

Jeffrey, DPT

Jeffrey was born and raised in Lincoln City, Oregon. He graduated from BYU-Idaho with a BS in Exercise Physiology in 2017, and from the University of St. Augustine with a DPT in 2021. In his spare time he enjoys camping, hiking, writing, reading, playing music, and spending time with his four boys and wife.

Kabrissa, DPT

Kabrissa Faas, DPT was born and raised in Roseburg, OR. She graduated from Oregon State University in 2016 and University of St. Augustine in 2021. She became a member of the Mercy team in 2022. She enjoys playing volleyball, hiking, water sports, snowmobiling, and spending time with her husband, family, and friends.

Karen, PT

Karen, PT, was raised in Manila, Philippines graduating from the University of Philippines, Manila in 1999. She loves children and sees both pediatric and adult patients. Her parents and 4 sisters live in the Philippines. She has lived in Roseburg since 2010 with her husband Kris, also a physical therapist, and her daughter. They love to travel, read, and sing.

Matt P, DPT.

Matt, who is a Lead Therapist at AIM, was raised in Cheyenne, WY. He graduated with a B.S. in Human Biology from Chadron State College in 2000 and Pacific University in 2003 with his doctorate in physical therapy. He has worked for Mercy since 2004. Matt specializes in vestibular, neuromuscular, and orthopedic therapy and is a member of Team Parkinson’s. He enjoys running, basketball, and softball. Matt also enjoys supporting local wineries.

Matt S, DPT

Matt S, DPT was born in Salem, OR and raised in Boise, ID. He graduated from Oregon State University in 2014 and George Fox University in 2017. Matt then joined the Mercy team where he specializes in orthopedic therapy and golf specific rehabilitation. He is married with 2 children. Matt enjoys camping, fishing, skiing, basketball, golf, and family activities.

Roger, PT

Roger, PT, was raised in Boise, ID and graduated from Boise State University with a B.S. in education and M.S. in exercise science. He also attended Idaho State University obtaining his physical therapy degree. He specializes in spine, orthopedics, manual therapy, and wound care. Roger is married with one daughter and enjoys golf, landscaping, and volleyball.

Marcia

Marcia, department secretary, was born and raised in Roseburg. In 2011, she graduated from Umpqua Community College. She has worked as a CNA, medical assistant, and phlebotomist. She is married with 2 children and 3 grandchildren. She spends her free time camping, boating, biking, and volunteering.

Taylor

Taylor, department secretary, was raised in Guthrie Center, Iowa. She graduated from Guthrie Center High School in 2016, and moved to Des Moines, Iowa in 2019. She started working for the MercyOne Medical Center in April of 2021, a sister location, as a referral specialist for the Katzmann Breast Center. She transferred to AIM Therapies in November of 2022 and she came with her dog, Yukon Cornelius and cat, Calypso. Some of Taylor’s hobbies include; biking, hiking, running, playing piano, video games, disc golf, and backpacking.

Julie

Julie was born and raised in Burns, Oregon. She received her B.S. in Exercise Science Integrated Physiology from Pacific University in 2011 and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from University of Montana in 2014. Julie has her Orthopedic Certification Specialty and enjoys working with a variety of populations, especially geriatric. She knows that patient involvement is key in defining goals and tries to be a listening ear to fully understand where patients are coming from and how to best serve each and every one. She enjoys spending time with family, camping, hiking, and playing volleyball.

Brandon, PT, DPT

Brandon, PT, DPT is originally from Omaha, Nebraska. He attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha for his bachelor’s degree, and completed his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Brandon has experience with a variety of populations, working as a Research Assistant studying Parkinson’s Disease, and volunteering as a swim coach with Special Olympics. He’s worked as a physical therapist in Nebraska, Washington and Arizona prior to moving to Oregon. Outside of work, Brandon loves to spend time with his fiance and their two dogs.

Brianne, DPT

Brianne, DPT, was raised on Whidbey Island, WA. She received her B.A. in Exercise Science from Willamette University in 2007 and her doctorate in physical therapy from Pacific University in 2010. Brianne is a certified Sportsmetrics™ trainer and has a special interest in the prevention and treatment of knee injuries in athletes. She is married with two children and enjoys spending time with family, hiking, and skiing.

Brittany, DPT

Brittany, DPT, was raised in Decatur, IN. She attended Bethel College in IN and received her B.A. in exercise science. At Bethel she played basketball for 4 years and participated in track for 2 seasons. She obtained her doctorate of Physical Therapy from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, AZ in 2013. She enjoys helping people with their orthopedic pain as well as treating people with vertigo and vestibular issues. She is married and has an awesome adventure dog. She and her family enjoy hiking and spending time on the river! She loves meeting new people and visiting other countries.

Jessica, DPT

Jessica, DPT is the lead therapist at AIM-2. She graduated from the University of South Dakota and began her career at Mercy in 2016. She enjoys hiking, skiing, visiting national parks, going to the beach, and spending time with family and friends.

Lana, PTA

Lana, PTA, was born in Sacramento, CA and raised in Sutherlin, OR. She graduated from Lane Community College in 2016 with an associate degree in Physical Therapy. She enjoys playing tennis, SUP-ing (Stand –up paddle boarding), horseback riding, wine tasting, and spending time with her family, friends, and her Golden Retriever, Cash.

Plessey, PT

Plessey, PT, was born and raised in the Philippines. She graduated from FUE-NRMF Philippines in 2003. Plessey joined Mercy in 2015, becoming part of the AIM family after serving a year here as a traveling therapist. She enjoys treating orthopedic and geriatric patients. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, camping, and chasing her young sons.

Danielle, OTR

Danielle grew up in Athens, Georgia where she also attended the University of Georgia to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and Family Sciences with a certificate in Disability Studies. In November 2020, Danielle graduated from Tennessee State University in Nashville, TN with her Master’s in Occupational Therapy. In her time in Nashville, she helped to build and establish Middle Tennessee’s first student-run pro bono clinic. Danielle loves traveling, hiking, paddle boarding, snowboarding, and rock climbing!

Jeff, OTR

Jeff, OTR, was born in Bellingham, WA. He graduated from the University of Puget Sound in 1982. Jeff is certified in Manual Lymphedema Therapy and is a member of Team Parkinson’s. He specializes in upper extremity/hand therapy, physical capacity evaluations, and work hardening. He is married with two children and enjoys camping, yard work, and reading.

Kayla, OTR

Kayla, OTR, was born and raised in Columbia, MO. She graduated with her master’s in Occupational Therapy from the University of Missouri in 2018. In her spare time, she enjoys any outdoor activity including, but not limited to, yoga, hiking, skiing, and hammocking. She is also a coffee fanatic who loves to read!

Anna, MS, CCC/SLP

Anna, MS, CCC/SLP was raised in Medford, OR. She graduated with a B.S. from the University of Hawaii in 2007. After spending several years abroad, she received her M.S. in Communication Disorders and Science from the University of Oregon in 2015 and joined the Mercy team. She enjoys reading, running, and spending time with family.

Nicole, MS, CCC-SLP

Nicole, MS, CCC-SLP, was raised in Salem, Oregon. She obtained her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Communication Disorders and Sciences from the University of Oregon. Her passion is working with patients who have experienced strokes and swallowing disorders. She enjoys attending sporting events, especially Oregon Duck football games, outdoor activities, board games, and spending time with family and friends.

Angela

Angela, secretary, was born and raised in Douglas County Oregon. She graduated from Sutherlin High in 2003 and then from Umpqua Community College in 2008 with her Dental Assisting Degree. She currently resides in Sutherlin, Oregon with her husband and two sons. In May of 2023 she joined the AIM Therapies family as a Secretary. When she is not at work she enjoys taking her boys baseball, football, and basketball. Some of Angela’s hobbies include; spending time with family and friends, kids sport, wine tasting, and exploring the outdoors.

Alex

Alex is a Rehab Tech at AIM Therapies. HeI was born and raised in south east Minnesota. He went to college at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and lived in Alaska before moving to Roseburg. He has an amazing 3 year old son. He enjoys hiking, fishing, skiing, climbing and baking muffins with his son.

Christy

Christy, secretary, was raised in Roseburg, OR and attended Umpqua Community College. She has been a Mercy employee since 2000. She has three children and enjoys hiking, volleyball, and rafting.

Heather

Heather, secretary, was raised in Roseburg, graduating from Roseburg High School in 1991. She has been working since 2010 at Mercy. She has two rambunctious alpacas. She enjoys doing home improvement projects on her property.

Jenna

Jenna, secretary, was raised in Chico, CA. She has been working with Mercy since 2007. She has two children and enjoys hiking, spending time with family, friends, and her dog.

Kayla

Kayla, secretary, was born in Portland, OR. She graduated from Roseburg High School and attended Umpqua Community College. She became a member of the Mercy team in 2017. She has three kids and three grandchildren. She enjoys cooking, outdoor activities, music, and spending time with friends and family.

Mitch

Mitch is a Therapy Tech. at AIM Therapies.  He was born in California, moved to Klamath Falls 10 years ago, lived in Minnesota for a couple years and is now living in Roseburg with his girlfriend. He enjoys hiking, camping, working out, exploring, and good food and breweries.

Rachel

Rachel, secretary, was born and raised in Grants Pass, OR. She graduated from North Valley High School in 2012 and moved to Roseburg in 2016. Rachel joined the Mercy team in 2019. She is currently attending Lane Community College, where she is working towards becoming a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant. Rachel has two daughters. She enjoys doing activities with her children, camping, coast trips, and playing music.

Trisha

Trisha, secretary, was born and raised in Medford, OR. She graduated from North Medford High School in 2003. She began working with Mercy in 2017. She is engaged and has one son. Outside of work, her activities include softball, hunting, and spending time with family.

Full PT, OT and Speech therapy services are available by physician order during your hospital stay at Mercy Medical Center.  Therapists are an important part of the hospital care team that work together to restore movement and function, recommend equipment and help needed at home, as well as train you and your family/caregiver to manage your condition for a safe return home.

Danielle, OTR

Alyssa, PTA, was born and raised in Eureka, CA. She graduated from San Diego Mesa College in 2015 with an associate degree in physical therapy. She likes spending time with family, house boating on Shasta Lake, snowboarding, hiking, and going to concerts with friends.

Beth, PT

Beth, PT, was raised in Roseburg, OR. She graduated from Pacific University with an M.S. in Physical Therapy in 1989. She has been with Mercy since 2001, and became Director of Rehabilitation in 2014. Prior to joining Mercy, she spent twelve years at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland. Beth enjoys spending time with family, hiking, running, camping, and going to concerts and community events. She also volunteers at the Roseburg Rescue Mission and at her daughter’s school.

Doreen, COTA

Doreen, COTA, was raised in Anamoose, ND, and graduated from North Dakota State College of Science. Doreen has experience in a variety of rehab settings, and currently works in acute care and home health. She is married with one child. Outside of work she enjoys photography, reading, and cooking.

Melissa, OTR

Melissa, OTR, was born and raised in John Day, OR. She graduated from Oregon State University in 2014 & D’Youville College in 2018.  She is married & has 2 wonderful Australian Shepards. She enjoys camping, hiking, & spending time with friends & family.

Gary, PT

Gary, PT, is a Montana native and graduated from the University of Montana in 1991. He has 27 years in Home Health and Acute Care Therapy. He does short-term missions to Mexico and around the world. He enjoys walking, backyard landscaping, and gardening.

Melissa, PT

Melissa, PT, is the Lead Therapist for the Mercy Acute Care Department. She was raised in Mt. Airy North Carolina. She graduated with a BS in Biochemistry and Botany from NC State University and a masters in Physical Therapy from Arkansas State University in 2008. She has been with Mercy since 2009, specializing in acute care/orthopedics and electronic documentation management. She is married with one daughter. She enjoys being a mom, gardening, and spending time outdoors.

Paige, SLP

Paige, MS, CF-SLP was raised in Reading, PA. She graduated with a B.S. from Penn State University in 2017. After two years of working as a rehab tech in a skilled nursing facility, she went to grad school in Utah to earn her master’s degree in 2021 from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions. Outside of work, Paige enjoys going on walks, hiking, kayaking, traveling, watching football, and spending time with friends and family.

Brian, DPT – Director of Rehabilitation

Brian, DPT – Director of Rehabilitation has been a practicing physical therapist for the past 20 years in a variety of settings in 4 separate health systems. He received his initial physical therapy degree from California State University Sacramento and went on to receive his Doctorate in physical therapy from A.T Still University in Mesa Arizona. He also attended the Kaiser Hayward orthopedic therapy mentorship program in 2001. He also received his APTA board certification in orthopedics in 2007.

While working for Providence Health System he directed the Providence Medford Sports Medicine Program, Occupational Medicine Program and Persistent Pain Program. He has spent the last 10 years focusing his practice in the management of chronic pain. He has taught in excess of 40 educational programs in the nature and treatment of chronic pain for the public and medical providers. He and the AIM Therapies staff are currently developing a public education program as well as a physical therapy based treatment program for those suffering from chronic pain in the Umpqua Valley.

Brian was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. He served ten years in the U.S. Navy and currently volunteers as director on the D9 foundation board which raises scholarship monies for the Eagle Point School District.

Joe, PTA

Joe, PTA, was raised in Roseburg, OR. He currently serves Mercy as the Outpatient Administrative Therapy Supervisor. He graduated from St. Philips College in San Antonio, TX in 1986 and was employed as a physical therapy assistant for the U.S. Army and stationed in Seoul, Korea for 15 months. Joe is a member of Team Parkinson’s. He is married with two children and enjoys playing electric and bass guitar, painting, running, cycling, and hiking.

Marji

Marji was born and raised in Northern California. She graduated from the University of California at Irvine in 1991 with a B.A. in Social Sciences. She has served as the Office Supervisor at AIM Therapies since 1992. Marji is married with two children. She enjoys traveling with her family, hiking, wine tasting and spending time with her bulldog Daisy.
